Hi All, it’s me again. It has been sometime, nearly 2.5 years. Believe it or not, I am nearing the end of my first year at Amherst College. I am here again today to update you all on my next journey with Barefoot College International and to add to My Barefoot Story.
Recently, I came to learn of the devastating COVID-19 situation in India and how it was directly affecting some of my family living there. I resolved to do my part to help.
In this effort, I found out that Barefoot College International was focusing a large amount of their resource towards the pandemic in India. They were largely focused on preventing the same issues happening in the cities (people with resource & access & privilege) from occurring the rural village communities of India. Learning this, I hoped to partner with Barefoot College & Amherst College to do my part.
